Dungeons & Dragons Co-Creator Gary Gygax Dead at 69

He assisted in sparking the 'role playing' phenomenon when he co-created Dungeons & Dragons, a game played round the world. Gary Gygax, the man behind the game, died Tuesday morning at his home in Lake Geneva. He was 69.

The civil rights lawsuit filed by the Milwaukee Gay Arts Center after police shut down its production of Naked Boys Singing was rejected this week by a federal judge. The police department's vice squad shut down the nude musical revue in August 2005 because its organizers did not have a license.

The Milwaukee Gay Arts Center has filed a claim against the city, contending it committed a civil rights violation by shutting down performances of the long running touring musical revue Naked Boys Singing. The claim seeks $500,000 in punitive damages, $100,000 for anticipated legal fees, $27,720 for loss of ticket revenue and $3,000 for loss of advertisement revenue.

Doctor Sued After Refusing To Treat Patient With HIV

A 54 year old Wisconsin man who says his doctor illegally discriminated against his patient by refusing to perform surgery when he learned the man has HIV Tuesday launched a civil suit. The complaint alleged that Dr. Cain discriminated against Spera on the basis of his disability and sexual orientation, since his blood was subjected to an HIV test based on Dr. Cain's assumption that he was gay.
